What to know

Zidoo

Zidoo support is focused on local playback detection and poster artwork where the device and local network allow it.

Apple TV

Apple TV support uses a local bridge direction. It can detect available playback state, but protected apps can limit the available title or artwork metadata.

Spotify

Spotify can be treated as a separate Now Playing source for music artwork and playback state where credentials and account setup allow it.

TMDb and Coming Soon

TMDb provides poster artwork, backdrops and upcoming movie data for Coming Soon and metadata enrichment.

Planned sources

The wider roadmap includes Emby, Jellyfin, Kodi, Plex-style workflows, Kaleidescape, Home Assistant, Control4 and other local integrations.

FAQ

Quick answers

Is every source available for every customer?

No. Source availability depends on the customer setup, credentials, local network and final bridge configuration.

Can Poster Player show Netflix metadata from Apple TV?

Protected apps may limit metadata. Poster Player does not bypass DRM and can use fallback views when needed.
